Pop up message area
This is the information displayed whenever the user's mouse passes over the 'marker' left by the advertiser on the main image. Markers are coloured sections of the main image amongst the monochrome and unused sections. The marker is usually at least 10 of the squares on the grid covering the main image - the information contains the name of the advertiser, a short message from that advertiser - which should be interesting enough to persuade the user to look for more information - and a logo or photograph supplied by the advertiser. The message may be any length of relatively unformatted text but usually is less than 250 characters.
Secondary information page
This is a web page - built by the advertiser using the excellent software we provide - that is shown whenever the user clicks their mouse while showing the pop up message information. It can contain more messages concerning the cause and the advertiser's best wishes plus lots of photographs, graphics, email links and a number of web site links that are to external sites containing the advertising information for the advertiser. The page can be coloured and the content arranged quite comprehensively to make these pages attractive.
External web sites
These are the normal and complete web sites of the advertiser containing all the information published, informing, advising and promoting everything done, offered or planned by the advertiser. These external and pre-existing sites could have cost hundreds of thousands of pounds and could be selling sites for products and services offered. They could have many pages and hundreds of photographs and illustrations.
Our Support information
We will be spending large amounts of the money received on SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) techniques, on PR and marketing to make the individual appeals popular and well visited. This will make the advertising pay off for the advertisers and the adverts last for at least a year for everyone. All the content of the advertising can be amended and updated as often as desired for no extra cost - each advertiser can maintain their own adverts simply.
Cause's Web page
All the pages of the cause's web site will be continuously maintained and updated to make the entire site more entertaining and interesting. The additional sections containing the message board (only visible to existing contributors) will encourage and provide the means for all contributors to discuss the operation among themselves and also will encourage a community feeling amongst the donors allowing trading between contributors and other self-help. We will introduce other mechanisms to provide help to advertisers/donors based on suggestions from the advertisers/donors.
Payment process
We allow you to pay for the service you are purchasing by credit card - but the Paypal system does not permit every kind of credit card especially from outside the US or Europe. We also supply you information of our bank account, including the International Bank Account Number (IBAN), the Branch Identifier Code (BIC), the SWIFT code, the Sortcode and Account Number - so that you can transfer money to us through your bank. You can also write and post to us a cheque or check - make sure you include enough money to cover the transfer and conversion to British Pounds (GBP) or the required currency. We also allow a facility to post a special code allowing testers to confirm their entries.
For all that do not pay us directly we will change the status of your entry to make it visible once we have actually received the money by whatever means you have chosen - this could take several days - but your entry will be visible to everyone once we have been paid.
